Learn how to do basic soldering, and the formation of metals into rings, pendants, and bracelets. After you've constructed some pieces, learn torch fire enameling techniques on copper to add color and texture to your designs. 4 Sessions. In partnership with the Tampa Museum of Art.

Join us to create your own art-boxes stories and found object sculptures. Bring your imagination, curiosity and a sense of play, as we will be working with an assortment of provided objects and those that students bring to class.
FREE Family-Friendly Mini-Concert: The Opera Tampa Singers. The Firehouse Cultural Center along with its Arts Education @Straz Center partner invite you and your family to join us for a live celebration of beloved opera arias performed by the Opera Tampa Singers followed by a Q & A. Sunday, November 10 at 2:00 PM.
Join us and local Historian Mac Miller for an informative and entertaining lecture on the History of Ruskin, Florida. From 1906 when his grandfather, Dr. George Miller and his three brothers-in-law moved from Missouri; transformed thousands of acres of swamp, scrub and forest into a thriving agricultural community named in honor of English essayist and social philosopher John Ruskin.
The Tom Hamilton Quartet is led by bassist Tom “TBone” Hamilton. The band is made up of the best Jazz Musicians from the Tampa Bay Area of Florida. Tom is upfront with acoustic upright bass along with drums, piano & guitar. This instrumental band performs music from the Great American Songbook including compositions from, Monk, Miles Davis, Ellington, Jobim to name a few.
