Synia Carroll
Jazz vocalist Synia Carroll has a unique ability to use her deep, silky-smooth voice to engage with her audiences and establish a connection few singers are able to achieve. Early on she discovered her love for jazz standards and great vocal artists like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson and Sarah Vaughn. Performing frequently throughout Sarasota, Venice, and the Tampa Bay area, Synia has headlined numerous concerts at the Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, the Palladium Side Door and the American Stage, both in St. Petersburg; and the Jazz Club of Sarasota’s “Jazz At Two” series. Synia recently received the “Maestro” award for her autobiographical, musical performance “Finding Sassy” at the 2019 Sarasolo Festival. syniacarroll.com

La Lucha
La Lucha is a Tampa Bay based trio that consists of three best friends from three different parts of the world; Colombia, Mexico & United States. Its members are Alejandro Arenas, bass; John O’Leary, piano; and Mark Feinman, drums. Their repertoire is a diverse mixture of Latin inspired rhythms with Jazz standards, twisted arrangements of pop songs and original compositions. Each member of the trio has extensive national and international performance experience, including a tour of Italy and France with performances at the “Umbria Jazz Festival” and “Jazz a Juan” in Juan Les Pins. laluchamusic.com

Kevin Celebi
An adventurous yet soulful and flexible trumpeter hailing from Detroit, Kevin Celebi started playing music when he was ten. He studied first with Marcus Belgrave (a Detroit legend), playing in the leader’s Civic Jazz Orchestra. After earning a music scholarship to DePauw University, from which he graduated with a BA in computer science and jazz studies, he moved to Indianapolis to attain his graduate degree at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, majoring in music. During this time he played locally with Indianapolis luminaries such as Rob Dixon and Mel Rhyne, among others. After IUPUI, he moved down to Sarasota, Florida, where he has joined and played with several groups, including the Naples Jazz Orchestra (playing with Doc Severinsen and Byron Stripling), Sarasota Jazz Project, Ken Loomer Big Band, Harmonic Sanity (a septet), and his own quartet. kevincelebi.com
