The Tom Hamilton Quartet

TBone has been busy lately with his New Orleans funk project – The TBone Hamilton Band. In addition, Tom is a 1^st call bassist for several other blues and jazz bands. This Jazz Concert will present songs from the Great American Songbook, and the concert will be a special one as Legendary South Florida Jazz Pianist, Dolph Castellano, will be a feature guest in the quartet. Dolph has performed with a who’s who of local and international Jazz stars— including: Woody Herman, Sam Donahue, Jimmy Dorsey, Art Moony, Ralph Marterie, Charlie Spivak and Cy Zentner. Dolph also worked and recorded with Ira Sullivan, Pete Minger, Chubby and Duffy Jackson; played with Dizzy Gillespie on his 60th birthday, and he also worked with Lou Donaldson, Donald Byrd and many others. Longtime musical collaborator of TBone, Dan Harris, will be on Guitar. Dan and Tom go back 20+ years with many successful concerts, shows and several recordings. Dan is also called to play with many of the top Jazz Artists in Florida. Rounding out the group is pro drummer Joe Renda. Joe is the main drummer called for because of virtuosity and versatility. Joe has played drums with Gil Parris, Etta Jones, Maria Muldaur, Bobby Lewis, Manfredo Fest, Dave Muse and Tony Monaco, as well as having had a long musical relationship with Connie Francis.
