Trumpeter James Suggs is returning to The Firehouse
with his Jazz Trio offering a great night of Jazz!

Local favorite James Suggs is no stranger to the Firehouse!

He will be performing selections from his recently released album ‘For All We Know’,
as well as classic jazz standards, blues, and ballads.

James Suggs and band members in the Trio will entertain the audience! Please join us!

James has played to various sold-out audiences in St. Petersburg, FL, covering the music of such artists as Lee Morgan, Chet Baker, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong, and Miles Davis. In 2015 he was awarded the Best of the Bay’s “Best Jazz Transplant”.
James studied trumpet with Dr. Jay Coble and jazz improvisation with Jack Wilkins at the University of South Florida (USF). There he performed in the top big band and jazz combos. He received a Masters Degree in music-jazz performance from USF in 2018.
