Unleash your creativity this summer! Designed for ages 12–16, this hands-on experience introduces teens to the exciting world of pottery, from hand-building techniques to wheel-throwing and glazing. Beginners or our skilled instructors will guide you through fun and engaging projects, allowing you to explore texture, form, and color. Session 4 (2 weeks) July 28 through Aug 8 (Mon, Wed, Fri).
BOOK FOR THE MONTH! Learn the basics of how to form clay through pinching, coil building, and working with slabs. Combine these forming methods together to make some fun shapes! Students should expect to make several pieces using these techniques. With introduction of wheel throwing. Clay, tools, glazing and firing included. Tuesdays: 9:30am – Noon. Adults. Explore color combinations, shapes, bead sizes, and textures to make jewelry that is uniquely yours! Sundays, 1 – 4 pm., August 17, August 24, August 31. (3 classes); attend at The Firehouse in Ruskin.
