The Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club follows five high school students from different social cliques—the rebellious Criminal, the introverted Basket Case, the overachieving Brain, the popular Princess, and the disciplined Jock—who are forced to spend a Saturday in detention together. What begins as a day of tension and stereotypes slowly transforms into an emotional journey, as they open up about their struggles, fears, and identities.
MacBeth and Cheese proudly present The Breakfast Club. This is the Unauthorized Director’s Cut, an immersive theatrical experience. This version breathes life into the beloved 80s classic. This production is a bold reimagining, featuring moments that were cut from the film of the same name.
Starring Fletcher Sigel as The Criminal, Kat Coates as The Basket Case, Julian Velazquez as The Brain, Avery Gaitens as The Princess, and Dylan Connally as The Jock. This talented ensemble brings fresh energy and depth to the roles.
Jim Sigel takes on the formidable Principal Vernon, while Mitchell Perera steps into the shoes of the ever-watchful Carl the Janitor.
Under the visionary direction of CJ Hashem and Hal Granholm, and produced by Amy Windle, this marks our triumphant return to the Firehouse Cultural Center after the historic damages. Get ready to laugh, cry, and relive the magic of The Breakfast Club!
