T-Bone Hamilton returns with the T-Bone Hamilton Band! They are celebrating twelve incredible years of music, memories, and momentum at the Firehouse Cultural Center.

From revival to renaissance, from Side Door sessions to sold-out Firehouse nights — this is more than a concert.

This is legacy.
This is community.
This is jazz — alive and swinging.

THE STORY BEGINS with legendary promoter Rick Gee — the driving force behind Rick Gee’s Jazz Jamm — and a guitarist whose sound would help define a movement: T-Bone Hamilton.

• Side by side, T-Bone and Rick Gee reignited the jazz flame across Tampa Bay. From the very first incarnation of the Side Door at the Palladium at St. Petersburg College; to the expanded Side Door series at the iconic Mahaffey Theater, they built more than concerts — they built a community.

• In 2014, after successfully reviving jazz throughout the region, Rick Gee passed away — leaving behind a legacy of rhythm, resilience, and revival.

• That same year, a new chapter began.

• A call came from Joe Hervey with a bold vision: transform a historic volunteer firehouse in Ruskin into a cultural beacon. The venue would become the Firehouse Cultural Center — and they wanted T-Bone to help christen the stage.

• Skeptical at first — after decades of navigating agents, promoters, festivals, and concert halls — T-Bone listened carefully. But when he heard the name Rick Gee, hesitation turned to harmony.

• On April 5, 2014, The Tom Hamilton Quartet took the stage as one of the very first performances at the Firehouse Cultural Center — launching what would become a lasting musical tradition.

• Now, twelve years later, the journey comes full circle.
