Using a range of printmaking techniques, produce striking prints inspired by what is on view in the Tampa Museum of Art.

This course explores basic painting techniques, using acrylic media. Topics include: composition, color, color mixing, texture, form and value. We will explore both representational and abstract painting.

Students will learn and explore: color (complementary colors, analogous colors, the chromatic richness of neutrals); brush strokes (from flat and variegated washes to dancing with your brushes); techniques (from wet-into-wet to spattering, pouring, spraying, stenciling, scrubbing).

Singer, guitarist, song writer, story teller, troubadour and a modern day bard, Chuck Brodsky tells the stories of oddball and underdog characters with his acoustic guitar and voice. His songs celebrate the goodness in people.

An overview of Musical Theater from the historical & performance perspectives. Students will explore American musical theater pieces; musical, theatrical and dance styles from throughout the 20th century.
