Beginning and experienced students will learn and explore the basics of: color (contemporary colors, analogous colors, the chromatic richness of neutrals); brush strokes (from flat and variegated washes to dancing with your brushes); techniques (from wet-into-wet to spattering, pouring, spraying, stenciling, and scrubbing).
Instructor: Barry Goodman
Artist bio: British artist Barry Goodman’s background is in printmaking, painting, and watercolors. He studied at the Reigate School of Art and Design at the London College of Printing. He has exhibited across the U.K. His work is in public and private collections including the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.
