Jazz trumpeter James Suggs is no stranger to the Firehouse! James Suggs was the featured soloist with the Glenn Miller Orchestra he has also played with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. He spent 8 years living in Argentina touring in Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, Venezuela, Mexico, England, Portugal, and Spain. He will be joined by award-winning jazz journalist and photographer Ken Franckling to put the selected music in context. He’ll also sign copies of his book, Jazz in the Key of Light, for purchasers.
