Introduction to Drawing

An introduction to drawing for both beginning and experienced students. Class will cover basic drawing with the primary emphasis on observation. We will use simple materials, pencil and charcoal, to explore a variety of drawing approaches, including contour and gesture, light and shadow, composition, and space.

Instructor: Bruce Marsh

Artist Bio: Bruce Marsh, distinguished painter and professor emeritus at the University of South Florida, has created hundreds of paintings. His representational style is a subtle blend of many brushstrokes that borders on abstraction.
