Intro to Pottery: Wheel Throwing (6-Week Course)

Discover the joy of working with clay in this hands-on, beginner-friendly course focused on the fundamentals of wheel throwing. Over six weeks, you’ll learn how to center clay, pull walls, and shape basic forms like bowls, mugs, and cylinders. We’ll also cover trimming, surface decoration, and glazing techniques so you can finish and fire your own unique pieces.

What to Expect:
• Step-by-step instruction tailored for beginners
• Small class sizes for personalized guidance
• All tools, clay, and materials included
• Access to studio time outside of class (optional/additional)
• You’ll finish the course with several glazed and finished pieces

No experience necessary – just bring your curiosity and willingness to get your hands dirty!

Includes 25 lbs. of clay, glaze and firing.
