Nine (9) weeks of fun for your Campers ages 7 – 14!
You may choose a single week, a mix of seven weeks, or every week. Explore a different theme each week from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, with snack times & lunch break* – all in a creative and safe environment. Themed weeks span from Musical Theater, Visual Arts, Animation and Robotics. Explore the Visual & Performing Arts or Imagine and Discover Arts & Technology. Each week culminates with a “Stage Performance” for Family and Friends. These camps fill up fast, so call 813-645-7651 now or register below. Choose one week or all nine.
*Campers are required to bring a brown bag lunch. Snacks will be provided for morning & afternoon breaks.

Week 1: Sound Creators for Video Foley Camp, June 1 – June 4
Foley artistry, named for the sound effect professional that pioneered it, originated during radio shows in the 1920s. They had to create sound effects from objects in the studio – anything from horse hoof beats to snow crunching to animal sounds! Make your own Foley art sound effects using everyday objects to enhance your production. Invite your friends to your “Big Crescendo”.
Week 2: Photography, June 7– June 11
“The best camera is the one you have with you.” Nowadays, that is the one in our pockets!
You will master the art of cell-phone photography. Cameras on our phones are powerful and capable of making terrific, high-quality photographs. Learn to slow down, look, and create dynamic images. You also learn composition and lighting techniques, and edit your images using the existing features on their phones and apps. Plus, experiment with different photographic styles such as portraiture, still-life and night/low-light photography. *Don’t have a cell phone? Not a problem! We have cameras too!
Week 3: Mix Media Art Immersive Modeling, June 14 – June 18
Setting the stage! Join us as we explore the world of Technical Theatre and set design. Working with various materials you will craft an immersive model. You will discover many set design techniques involved in planning and building a set. This includes, structure and framing, paper mâché, plastering, texturing, and painting to name a few of the many skills we will utilize. Showcase your work at the end of the week when we open the model up for family and friends to explore and experience.
Week 4: Musical Theater I, June 21 – June 25
Explore a broader range of acting and immerse themselves into Broadway musical theater performance techniques. You will develop confidence and a stage presence through theater games, improvisation, costume play and storytelling. You will sharpen acting and vocal skills as you prepare for a “Stage Performance” for family and friends.
Week 5: The Absurd Art of Experimental Painting & Sculpting 1, June 28 – July 2
Splat, drip, flick, and smear your way to an incredible experience where students learn to make value judgements while creating abstraction….wear old clothes. Create bigger creations if attending both weeks.
Week 6: The Absurd Art of Experimental Painting & Sculpting 2, July 5 – July 9
Splat, drip, flick, and smear your way to an incredible experience where students learn to make value judgements while creating abstraction….wear old clothes.
Week 7: Musical Theater II, July 12 – July 16
Refine your star quality and learn acting techniques for musical theater. Develop self-confidence while working on scenes to be performed live before an audience. Class includes joint scene work, improvisation, and relaxation exercises. Week culminates with a “Stage Performance” for family and friends.
Week 8: Puppet Palooza, July 19 – July 23
The art of puppetry: Come join us in exploring the types of puppets, like marionettes, rod and arm, sock, glove, and finger puppets to name just a few. Learn their purpose and experiment in creating your very own puppets! Learn performance techniques when using your puppet and show off your newfound skills at the end of the week in a showcase of short skits and monologues with your puppet!
Week 9: Robotics, July 26 – July 30
You will work in small teams to create and program a robot as they learn simple digital programming to command tasks and learn simple coding (programming) to do things with light & sound. Younger campers design and make their own FUN creations, making them move —- like robots! Culminates with a “Show-off” for family and Friends.

All Campers are temperature checked before entering the building. Masks are required.
Lunch & transportation are not provided.
Early drop-off and Aftercare are available for an additional fee and must be pre-arranged.

Cancellation Refund Policy:
- Registration cancellations made two (2) or more weeks prior to the start of camp will receive a full refund, with the exception of membership.
- Registration cancellations made less than two (2) weeks prior to the start of camp will incur a thirty dollar ($30) cancellation fee.
- Registration cancellations made after the first (1st) day of camp will incur a fee for the day plus a thirty dollar ($30) cancellation fee.
- Absolutely no refunds after the second (2nd) day of camp. A prorated credit will be issued at the discretion of FCC and may be used towards any FCC camp or program with a one (1) year expiration from the date of issue.
