• Young artists will explore design, color harmony, and composition through the process of making their own felt banners.
• Using layers of colorful felt, students will sketch and construct original designs — incorporating shapes, symbols, and lettering to express a personal idea or theme.
• An introduction of balance, contrast, and visual storytelling, artists will learn techniques for cutting, layering, and assembling felt and embellishments, resulting in a unique banner ready for display.
• Ages 6 – 12
