About ARConnection

ARConnection (Arencibia/Rudolph Connection) is a Tampa Bay based ensemble led by pianist Pablo Arencibia and drummer Dave Rudolph with Latin Grammy nominee Mauricio J. Rodriguez on bass. The group’s name refers to the consistent sentiment expressed by listeners who note the strong connection they display musically among themselves and with their audience.
Drawing inspiration from music legends including Herbie Hancock, Brian Blade, and Chick Corea, ARConnection’s compelling virtuosic performances honor the finest jazz traditions while also exploring new artistic horizons through the group’s original compositions. ARConnection features a rotating cast of talented guest artists.
The unique sound of ARConnection can be described as modern post-bop charged with elements of fusion, electric, and Latin jazz.
