Each Art Play Date Session is a stand-alone session for caregiver and child artist to play with materials and create a collaborative project. This class is Saturday, Aug 10 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Firehouse Cultural Center.

Students learn the basics of wheel throwing by forming and throwing simple shapes on the potter’s wheel. More advanced students will build upon the basics to create larger, more advanced projects. Discover varying throwing techniques, forms and glazing.
Materials & firings included. Age 18 to Adult.

Teen artists will explore a variety of mediums and work closely with innovative local teaching artists. With mentorship and socialization at the forefront, they’ll learn about different paths in art while developing their skills and experimenting with new techniques.
Supplies Included. This class is Saturday, Aug 10, 12:30 – 2:30 pm, Firehouse Cultural Center.
