 Firehouse Cultural Center, 101 1st Ave NE, Ruskin FL Studio 55 is for adults 55 and older to connect over art and artmaking. This is TMA’s participation in the Vitality Arts Project for Art Museums funded by EA Michelson Philanthropy to promote the work of anti-ageism in our community and industry. While building a community of artists, students will learn new techniques, develop artistic skills, and create their own impressionist-inspired masterpieces. Art Up Your Garden or Walkway. Make a beautiful steppingstone for your garden and learn the basics of mosaics at the same time. This four-session class you will learn how to use tools to cut and shape glass and ceramics to make a garden steppingstone. Bring your old dishes to class with you. installation "This Particle of Dust". This Remix explores the visual poetics of light and dark, color and form,
as well as space and architecture. You will learn about the artist, then make art in that style. Monday, May 5, 6-8 pm, Firehouse Cultural Center. Ages 16 and up.
