Firehouse Cultural Center in partnership with Patel Conservatory @Straz Center presents: Drama/Comedy Theater for Kids.
Free Event: Wednesdays, Sept. 13 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Schedule follows Hillsborough School Calendar. This program will conclude with “Show Off Production” for all to see. Limited Space for ages 7 – 16. Free Programming provided by Patel Conservatory. Underwritten by The Straz.

Studio 55 is for adults 55 and older to connect over art and artmaking. This is TMA’s participation in the Vitality Arts Project for Art Museums funded by EA Michelson Philanthropy to promote the work of anti-ageism in our community and industry. While building a community of artists, students will learn new techniques, develop artistic skills, and create their own impressionist-inspired masterpieces. Free 8-week class, Wednesdays 10:00 am – 1:00 pm to October 18th – December 13th. No class Nov. 22.

BOOK FOR THE MONTH! Learn the basics of how to form clay through pinching, coil building, and working with slabs. Combine these forming methods together to make some fun shapes! Students should expect to make several pieces using these techniques. With introduction of wheel throwing. Clay, tools, glazing and firing included. Thursdays: 9:30am – 11:30am Adults. Book Monthly, January 2024 – December 2024.

With a sound perfect for concert halls or the festival stage, Eireann’s Call is a classy, powerful band. Their music spans the Celtic nations, with World Music influences from the Middle East, North Africa, Appalachia, Scandinavia and more. Instrumentation includes: bagpipes, accordion, keys, guitar, bass, drums and tight 3 and 4 part vocal harmonies. Come out and join us at the Firehouse Center Stage on Friday, December 8 at 7:30 pm.
