Firehouse Cultural Center in partnership with Patel Conservatory @Straz Center presents: Drama/Comedy Theater for Kids.

Studio 55 is for adults 55 and older to connect over art and artmaking. This is TMA’s participation in the Vitality Arts Project for Art Museums funded by EA Michelson Philanthropy to promote the work of anti-ageism in our community and industry. While building a community of artists, students will learn new techniques, develop artistic skills, and create their own impressionist-inspired masterpieces. Free 8-week class, Wednesdays 10:00 am – 1:00 pm to October 18th – December 13th. No class Nov. 22.

Paint it Your Way: Watercolor Or Acrylic. Your Choice! Share the love of painting while enriching your skill set, no matter the medium. Instructor: Helen Solomon. Mondays, Oct. 23 – Nov. 27. Time: 1:30 – 3:30 pm.

Secrets to taking great photographs with any type of camera, including a Smart Phone. Taught by Master Photographer Alan Feldman. This is a Two Session Class: Thursday, Nov. 9, 1:00 – 3:00 pm and Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1:00 – 3:00 pm.

Fall 2023: Select Thursdays, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Strengthen your skills in our monitored figure drawing session with a variety of timed poses. Bring your chalk, paint, charcoal or pencil, you choose the medium. Model varies by session. Reservations are Limited. Your $15 cash tuition is due at the door.
