Studio 55: Impressionist Printmaking - TMA@Firehouse Firehouse Cultural Center, 101 1st Ave NE, Ruskin FL Studio 55 is for adults 55 and older to connect over art and artmaking. This is TMA’s participation in the Vitality Arts Project for Art Museums funded by EA Michelson Philanthropy to promote the work of anti-ageism in our community and industry. While building a community of artists, students will learn new techniques, develop artistic skills, and create their own impressionist-inspired masterpieces. When two tourists discover a treasure chest full of historical artifacts, they are magically transported back in time in a fun-filled journey through Florida History. The audience will laugh as they learn about Ponce De Leon, the settlement of Pensacola (Florida’s “Almost Oldest” city), the founding of St. Augustine, and the “Original” Pocahontas story. |
