Gypsy Star’s musical compositions are uniquely represented by world music. Their sound is dominated by Spanish, Celtic and Latin flavors together with sounds of the Caribbean and the Middle East underscored by Pop, Rock, Classical and Jazz influences. The Dog Days Poetry Workshop will allow participants to craft and respond to poems that "beat the heat." That is, we'll be reading and writing poems about all things cold. Through the use of intensely frigid imagery, writers will get a short respite from August in Florida. Led by Poet John Davis Jr.
