We work with each organization to customize and design a curriculum to specifically address the needs and best benefits for those served by their organization, school, agency or after-school program. John takes participants through some poems (both old and new) that have creepy, mysterious, or downright scary elements. Then participants produce some “haunted” poetry of their own. We will discuss the master: Edgar Allan Poe. Other poets whose work qualifies as Gothic will be introduced and discussed before we write our own pieces.
