This monitored environment ensures safety and support while offering access to professional-grade tools, wheels, and kilns. Whether you are hand-building, throwing, or glazing, our staff is available during all open studio hours to assist, answer questions, and maintain a safe, respectful studio atmosphere. Must have class experience to attend. Tuesdays: 9:30am – Noon. Adults. March 2025 - December 2025.

You’ll discover the joy of working with clay in this hands-on, beginner to intermediate course focused on the fundamentals of wheel throwing. In 5 weeks, you'll learn how to center clay, pull walls, and shape basic forms like bowls, mugs, and cylinders. We'll also cover trimming, surface decoration, and glazing techniques so you can finish and fire your own unique pieces. No experience necessary – just bring your curiosity and willingness to get your hands dirty! Includes 25 lbs. of clay, glaze and firing. Thursdays, 9:30 am until 12:00 pm Nov. 6 – Dec. 11

Featured comic is Ken Miller & Friends. In just a few short years, Ken Miller has stormed through the ranks of comedy. He is now touring as a headliner and is one of Florida’s funniest comics. Ken Miller's Friends will include Vien Phommachanh "Comic Doc" and emcee BC Murphy. A great line up! This a Friday Night Center Stage Comedy Event on November 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Firehouse Cultural Center in partnership with Raptor Center of Tampa Bay presents: "I Can Save the Planet". A Puppet Show, "Magical Bird Bus" and "Meet The Book Artist" event on Saturday, November 8 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

This beach-themed paint-and-sip class blends artistic freedom, guided by a local artist, (Helen Solomon). You’ll paint a playful coastal scene — complete with sun and sand. Unwind with friends, enjoy beverages and nibbles’ then let your imagination flow as you create your own masterpiece inspired by beach vibes. Friday, Nov. 14 at 5:30 pm.

Pottery Workshop: Learn about basic clay types, tools, and techniques. Hand-build a piece using techniques like pinching or slab work. You create one-of-a-kind Art, with surface decoration techniques like textures or carving & glazing. FCC will fire your art and contact you when it is ready for pickup. All materials supplied. Fri. Young artists will explore design, color harmony, and composition through the process of making their own felt banners. Using layers of colorful felt, students will sketch and construct original designs — incorporating shapes, symbols, and lettering to express a personal idea or theme. Ages 6 - 12. Thursday. Nov. 20 from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.

Come out and join us Saturday, November 22 at 7:30 pm to see the Paul Gavin Quartet. Paul will be bringing a quartet playing the music of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, as well as his own original music.

Schools Out! Ready for the Holidays Musical Theatre Mini Camp! Spend your vacation leading up to Thanksgiving decking the halls with music, acting, and fun. Let’s recreate some of the classics, and holiday favorites such as Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and A Charlie Brown Christmas. November 24, 25, and 26, from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
