The TBone Hamilton Band returns to the Firehouse! Tom "TBone" Hamilton is a renowned bassist, vocalist, and producer. He has left a mark on the blues, jazz, and Americana music scenes in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. With a career spanning over three decades, Hamilton has established himself as a versatile and passionate musician. He is equally adept at leading his own bands or serving as a sideman for national and international touring artists. Join us! SATURDAY May 31, 7:30 p.m.

Ten (10) weeks of fun for your Campers ages 7-15! You may choose a single week, multiple weeks, or every week. Get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing in this fun and interactive 3-session pottery series designed just for kids! In this beginner-friendly class, young artists will explore the basics of working with clay through hand-building techniques and get an introduction to the pottery wheel. The return of Ron Feingold and his a cappella comedy! And friends! Headliner Ron Feingold is literally a one man vocal band, relying only on his voice as his sole instrument to create a truly unique musical comedy experience. Friday, June 6, 2025.

Discover the joy of working with clay in this hands-on, beginner-friendly course focused on the fundamentals of wheel throwing. Over six weeks, you'll learn how to center clay, pull walls, and shape basic forms like bowls, mugs, and cylinders. We'll also cover trimming, surface decoration, and glazing techniques so you can finish and fire your own unique pieces. Saturdays, 9:00 am until 12:00 noon June 7 - July 19 (no class July 5).

Unleash your creativity this summer! Designed for ages 12–16, this hands-on experience introduces teens to the exciting world of pottery, from hand-building techniques to wheel-throwing and glazing. Beginners or our skilled instructors will guide you through fun and engaging projects, allowing you to explore texture, form, and color. Session 1 (2 weeks) June 9 through June 20 (Tue, Wed, Thu).

Sea Creatures Glass Fusing Workshop. You choose your pattern and colors in creating your colorful glass sea creation. This 4 x 6 glass art will brighten any room or window. All Skill Levels Welcome, and all Materials Supplied. Tues. June 10 from 10:00 – 11:30 pm. This class will be in the FCC ANNEX.

INTRODUCTION TO CLAY! Learn about basic clay types, tools, and techniques. Hand-build a piece using techniques like pinching or slab work. Form Your Piece: Shape your item with help from an instructor. Don’t worry about perfection—the charm is in the handmade feel. Surface decoration techniques like textures or carving & glazing. Wed. June 11 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm.

Strengthen your skills in our monitored figure drawing session with a variety of timed poses. Bring your chalk, paint, charcoal or pencil, you choose the medium! Model varies by session. WUSF, Community Foundation Tampa Bay, and the Firehouse Cultural Center proudly announce a special event focused on hurricane preparedness for the 2025 season. This free jazz concert and conversation will feature music by Bryan Hughes and the Crew, the USF Jazztet Trio, and an insightful discussion led by the WUSF news team. This two-session workshop is designed for beginners to intermediates. Those who want to will improve their ability to draw still life scenes accurately and confidently. Each session focuses on foundational techniques for observing, measuring, and rendering objects in a realistic and compelling way. Mondays, June 23 and June 30 from 1:30 – 3:30 pm.

Create one-of-a-kind jewelry using pre-cut copper, brass, and sterling silver. Instructor. Kate Hamilton will teach you how to texture, rivet, and assemble your own bracelet, pendant, earrings, or keychain. Limited to 6 students per class. Sat. June 28, 2:00 – 3:30 pm.
