Knock 'em dead with a "tight five"! Create material you can be proud of, and be ready for the stage. This class focuses on the generation, development, and performance of the material you create. No experience needed. These remote classes will meet 2 hours a week for 6 weeks, followed by a final in-person class and showcase outside of class where you can invite others to see you shine. You will explore color, dive into a variety of brush strokes from flat washes to dancing with your brushes; techniques from wet to scrubbing; and more. This class is for all levels, heighten your skills or find your hidden talent. Oct. 24 - Nov. 28, 2022.
10 types of paintbrushes every Artist should know. So many brushes and what are they for? The difference between oil, acrylic and watercolor. Which brush to choose for the look you are going for, learn and practice brush strokes, choose the correct brush for the job, plus care & cleaning for longer wear. Painting BIG (Pattern). Your BIG chance to paint on a large piece of heavy paper (approx. 3’X 4’). You’ll be looking at patterns in art and then create your own BIG designs.
