Manuscript Consultation

During the Firehouse Cultural Center’s “Spring Forward” Writers Week, novelist Laura Lee Smith will meet with TEN aspiring writers to discuss excerpts from their work. Private manuscript consultations will offer writers of any skill level the opportunity to connect with an experienced reader, writer, and teacher, and to receive Smith’s feedback on strengths and opportunities for improvement in their work. Submissions of fiction, memoir, and creative nonfiction are welcome. Writers will emerge from the consultations with a written critique of their work and with ideas and inspiration for taking the project to the next level.
