Right now, we have a fantastic opportunity to enlarge the Firehouse Cultural Center!
We need your support to buy an additional building!
From the day our doors opened for full-time arts and cultural programming in 2013, there has been continuous growth in the demand for our community programming. In 2016, the Firehouse served more than 30,000 people of all ages and all diversities. In 2017 & 2018, the projected influx of new families and individuals to South Hillsborough will significantly increase the demand for our unique cultural programs, resources and services.
To meet these steadily growing needs for full-time multi-purpose facilities, we need more space. Fortunately, the building across the street has become available at just the right time!
Your help is needed to reach our goal of $350,000 to purchase this additional building. We’re already starting with a matching gift of $75,000. The Firehouse Cultural Center is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) so your gift is tax deductible within the limits of the law.
Your generous support for FCC’s future will be recognized by the addition of your name on a commemorative plaque designed by artist Michael Parker. The Expansion Campaign runs through January 2018.
