Comedy: Rahn Hortman & Bill Zapf

Friday, December 4, 2015, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Location: Firehouse Cultural Center

Event type: Firehouse Pub

Comedy Night at the Firehouse Cultural Center. You love it, so we keep bringing the funny!

Bill Zapf was injured in a hockey accident up in the Great White North. The former hockey player, skydiver, and bungee jumper has always had a love for comedy and has been making people laugh his entire life.  His edgy, and most often twisted approach towards his disability and life as a husband and father of 5 will keep you entertained. After Rosie O’Donnell was an audience member at one of his shows, she asked him to tour Florida with her and be her opener.

Rahn Hortman never thought that one day seasoned veterans of comedy would give him personal praise for his own stage show being “refreshing” and “a departure from the norm”. But fittingly, nothing about Rahn’s journey to the world of stand-up comedy has been normal. What resulted is a unique blend of profanity-free banter, with pointed observations about everyday people that leave no one safe.
