Ever wonder about the history of this piece of paradise that we call “South Shore?” In partnership with the Ruskin Branch Library, Firehouse Cultural Center presents a walk down memory lane. See photos, videos, displays, and talk to those who have been in the “South Shore” area for more than 50 years! We plan on immersing you in the history of this beautiful slice of heaven south of the alafia river, which includes, Gibsonton, Wimauma, Ruskin, Apollo Beach, Sun City Center, Riverview, and Sun City.

FREE event that will feature videos of local farmers and the local sites, such as, The Showman’s Museum, the gulf side beach in Apollo Beach, Little Harbor, the original electric power building in Sun City and more historical locations!

Join us for this FREE historical and educational event full of displays, photos, videos, and presentations by long-time residents. Event includes panel presentation & lectures on the unique history of South Hillsborough County.
