An introduction to artist’s books and altered books. We’ll look at ideas and techniques for handmade books; sculptural books, book covers & pages, Japanese stab binding. By the end of the class you should have at least one completed handmade book.

Artist Bio: Dee Hood’s background is in painting, sculpture and time-based media. Her work has been exhibited in numerous local, national and international museums, galleries and film festivals. Formerly she taught classes in painting, drawing and design at the Ringling College of Art and Design, Sarasota.
