Buckle up, buttercup, for a tumble down the rabbit hole into a world wilder than a tea party on a sugar rush! Alice, our pint-sized heroine, ditches boredom and follows a white rabbit with a serious case of the zoomies, landing ker-plop in Wonderland. This Wonderland welcomes everyone with open arms – from tiny tots to grown-up goofballs, it’s a show for the whole family! Alice’s Wonderland is presented by MacBeth & Cheese in Partnership with the Firehouse Cultural Center.  Saturday, May 18, 7:30 pm, Center Stage at the Firehouse.

Every Thursday, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Strengthen your skills in our monitored figure drawing session with a variety of timed poses. Bring your chalk, paint, charcoal or pencil, you choose the medium. Model varies by session. Please reserve online or by phone, 813-645-7651. Reservations are Limited. Your $15 cash tuition is due at the door.

Metalsmithing Bracelet or Pendant: You create either a cuff bracelet or pendant. Add hammered texture to pre – cut shapes of brass and copper then learn how to add sterling silver to your show piece by learning how to rivet. All Materials Supplied. Saturday, May 25 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.

Students learn the basics of wheel throwing by forming and throwing simple shapes on the potter’s wheel. More advanced students will build upon the basics to create larger, more advanced projects. Discover varying throwing techniques, forms and glazing.

This blues artist, JP Soars, can create a cohesive sound in the genre by weaving in a diversity of other influences, A 2009 winner of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN with his band the Red Hots (and the festival’s Albert King Award winner as best guitarist to boot), the Arkansas native tours extensively through the United States, Canada, South America and Europe after relocating to South Florida.
